| TUESDAY FILM: EVERY HOME SHOULD HAVE ONE Marty Feldman advocates ideas to sell porridge by using sex. The film is extremely funny and rather coarse. Lovers of the Marty Feldman zany humour will want to see this film. I had doubts as to whether this film should be shown but was persuaded by other members of staff. IN THE CRYPT, TUESDAY, 8.00pm UNDER-16 DISCO This is an experimental session to be held on MONDAY NEXT from 7.00pm to 9.30pm Admission: Members 10p Visitors 15p SKY DIVING: Opportunity has arisen for a small group to attend a series of sessions leading to a sky dive. Anyone interested should have a strong stomach, strong legs and nerves of steel. ANY TAKERS? RIDING: Late last year a small group rode across the moors near Menston and came home saddle-sore and weary but very thrilled. Another Sunday afternoon session will be arranged next month. Tickets are now available from P S B tv (Record Dept) Market Place Wetherby where Jeanette Mellor will be pleased to serve you. I EXPECT ALL CRYPT MEMBERS TO COME AND SEE THE SHOW AND TO ENCOURAGE THEIR PARENTS AND FRIENDS TO COME ALONG. JUMBLE SALE : The Crypt coffers are somewhat depleted again. PLEASE, PLEASE SORT THROUGH YOUR HOMES. Start bringing your JUMBLE NOW. This is an easy way of making a fair amount of money quickly and easily as long as each one of you does your bit SCENE ONE: An opportunity for a Saturday night out at Scene One in Scarborough where the top groups appear. Malcolm Ware and the girls who were part of the Sharks dancing and singing "I want to be in America" around Wetherby town centre after the Saturday Matinee.
Ted Kilner put a lot into the crypt to make it successful and he had good helpers to help him, especially good old Mrs. Bathe. He always did a fantastic firework display as well. |
